Account Manager

Employers entrust us with their most important asset, the health of their workforce. Our Account Managers are the day-to-day contacts for our clients. Partnering with a specific block of business to help demystify employee healthcare and create a better experience for both clients and employees.

How you’ll add to the team:

  • Assist in the administration of our clients’ healthcare plans through proactive communication
    • Organize and lead quarterly meetings with clients
    • Bring solutions to issues facing the client
    • Creating long-term strategic benefit plans that will succeed and ultimately retain the client
  • Act as a liaison between our clients and internal Healthgram team members
    • Working as a team to effectively mediate concerns
    • Anticipate renewal process concerns: new rates, enrollments, terminations, ID cards, etc.
  • Keep our clients informed of government regulations, emerging trends, and various program design options.
  • Develop personal relationships with each of our clients
    • Account Managers are the educators of benefit topics, helping the plan run as effectively as possible
  • Audit performance of clients’ plans and suggest new initiatives where appropriate
  • Execute annual plan renewal

Compliance Officer

Healthgram, a firm that helps employers manage self-funded health plans, corporate wellness programs and on-site medical clinics, seeks a Compliance Officer to oversee compliance on behalf of the firm’s clients and plan members.

A successful candidate will develop initiative, maintain and execute policies and procedures that protect the firm and its clients from illegal or improper conduct. The role requires ongoing knowledge of healthcare regulatory changes, the ability to interpret application for our clients and communication with internal and external parties.

 

Essential functions of this role include:

  • Providing guidance on implementation of reform requirements
  • Research of current and forthcoming healthcare regulatory changes
  • Creation of regular Compliance Updates for internal and external distribution
  • Acting as a subject matter expert in client meetings when requested
  • Advising on claims, appeals, and documentation to ensure consistent decision-making
  • Management of Master Plan Document and Summary Plan Description, including researching, advising on and implementing recommended changes
  • Monitoring potential risks through the development of incident procedures and third party recovery
  • Advising on HIPAA and ERISA compliance issues
  • Maintenance of contract templates
  • Assistance in contract negotiations
  • Acting as a litigation liaison

 

The Compliance Officer works closely with the client services, sales and operations teams and reports directly to executive management.

 

 

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor degree and licensed to practice law. Healthcare background preferred.

Entry Level Claims Analyst

Our clients and members count on the accuracy of our claims department, and we’re proud to help make the complicated healthcare system easier for everyone.

We’re currently looking for a full-time Claims Analyst to grow our team. This role involved keying and coding medical claims into our system, so speed and accuracy is a must. Day-to-day success in this role requires organization, efficiency, attention to detail, interpersonal skills and a self-starter attitude.

 

How you’ll add to the team:

  • Keying and coding medical claims (about 170 per day)
  • Routing of claims
  • Scanning claims
  • Batch adjudication of claims
  • Maintain accurate backlog reports

 

What you’ll bring:

  • High school diploma required
  • 60 WPM
  • Data entry proficiency
  • Understanding of basic insurance principles
  • Microsoft office proficiency

Health Coach

We believe that healthier employees = happier employees. Our Health Coaching team works diligently to provide our members with confidential lifestyle counseling with a personalized approach.

Each member is at a different place in their wellness journey. Our Health Coaches have access to the latest technology and EMR systems to identify the most important issues each member is facing and address them with compassion. Whether it’s reminding a healthy young parent about their upcoming screenings, working alongside a member’s doctor to help manage their diabetes, or helping a long-time tobacco user quit for good, our Health Coaches make a big difference.

This position is based out of our office in Charlotte, NC. Not a tele-commuting role. 

How you’ll add to the team:

  • Provide telephonic coaching using a Motivational Interviewing method. Common topics for discussion include:
    • Dietetics/Nutrition, Weight loss, personal goal setting, chronic condition management, screening compliance
  • Administer programs including chronic disease management, tobacco cessation, weight management among others
  • Track encounters within our secure EMR system
  • Become a trusted resource for the members you assist. Confidentiality and compassion are our top priorities!

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Prior knowledge about general health and well-being. A focus on chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and asthma is preferred.
  • 2 or 4 year degree in health related area preferred concentration on nutrition and dietetics
  • Knowledge or work experience in health behavior change and strong communication skills
  • Experience or training in Motivational Interviewing preferred
  • A passion for wellness. This is an entry-level position perfect for recent college graduates ready to make a difference

Precertification LPN

We’re on a mission to improve health outcomes and reduce the cost of care. The work of our medical department is critical to helping us do both.  Working in a call center environment under supervision, this position handles inbound calls from patients, patient representatives, providers, and other medical staff.

We are looking for a Medical Precertification LPN to add to our growing team.

What you’ll add to the team:

  • Management of precertification processes of eligible medical services based on medical plan documents and medical necessity
  • Apply clinical knowledge to make determinations for pre-authorizations of specific procedures and services
  • Conduct Medical/Surgical medical necessity reviews

RN Case Manager

We think that healthcare is complicated enough. Our Case Management team helps members with long-term or complex medical needs manage their care so they can focus on getting well.

We’re looking for a compassionate, service-focused Case Manager to coordinate care, provide compassionate outreach and help members make the most of their benefit plans.

 

How you’ll add to the team:

  • Provide clinical interventions with members identified as needing outreach
  • Use all resources available to assist and improve the member’s experience and outcomes
  • Coordinate the delivery of care for each member
  • Evaluate, coordinate and communicate healthcare options to high-risk members
  • Communicate with members, providers and other third-parties
  • Perform actions required in our Case Management protocol, including: precertitifcation, care coordination, discharge planning, documentation
