We're currently hiring for the following positions:

Database Administrator/SQL Developer

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will assume the role of Database Administrator and be integral to the planning, direction and execution of our organization’s database architecture to support and enhance the data needs of our business.  Candidate should be able to perform maintenance tasks on the current environment while also looking toward enhancements for scalability and the overall growth of the business. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid T-SQL Developer skills. SSRS/SSIS experience is a big plus. 

 

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage SQL Server databases through development, testing, and mission-critical production environments.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain servers and server processes for optimal system health and performance.
  • Document and apply data modelling techniques to ensure consistency in development and implementation efforts, while meeting DB performance expectations.
  • Analyze, track, refine, and resolve issues in real-time, providing end-to-end troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical mentorship and cross-training to other team members, while assisting in query writing, stored procedures, triggers and user defined functions.
  • Design and develop best-practices for queries and stored procedures with best practices for use by other team members.
  • Some off-hours/flex support will be expected in this role for system maintenance and monitoring activities.

 

Required Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
  • 3+ years MS SQL Server administration experience within an enterprise environment with emphasis on 2 and 3 tier architectures, server versions 2008 R2 thru 2016.
  • 3+ years Windows Server experience, including utilization of Active Directory and Windows best practices and concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in T-SQL coding: query writing, stored procedures, triggers and user defined functions.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization, native monitoring and troubleshooting tools, and backup/restoration/recovery models.
  • Experience with SSIS packages and SSRS reporting tool.
  • Thorough understanding of security, high availability, disaster recovery, replication/mirroring, failover clustering, and log shipping best practices.
  • Ability to contribute to project planning, scope, and versioning dialogues and documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience working within a highly integrated team comprised of both technical and non-technical members.
  • Experience working independently on projects and tasks with minimal instruction.
  • Solid understanding of industry standard fundamentals including data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.

Health Advocate

Healthgram is seeking a dynamic and engaging member to join the team as a Health Advocate. Advocates are our members’ go-to resource for all of their healthcare questions, whether they’re asking about a claim or need help finding a doctor. IT Manager

The IT Manager will oversee daily personnel functions of the IT department, including assisting the Project Manager in task allocation and workflow efficiencies.  This position also builds, strategizes, innovates, and leads the technical support team. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day IT operations, escalate issues for awareness
  • Assist Project Manager in coordinating and/or leading technical discussions.
  • Manage outsourced development teams
  • Oversee the fulfillment of components in the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Provide visibility to team impediments/risks and helps eliminate them
  • Coach and mentor agile team members and provide constructive performance feedback
  • Track and report status and other metrics against goals on an ongoing basis
  • Helps teams achieve project goals while being aware of and sensitive to the overall business goals
  • Review with team regular performance updates and/or review for identifications of variances and corrective actions
  • Raise concerns based on measurement criteria to supervision and provide recommendations to maximize productivity
  • Assist Project Manager in delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and manage project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Understand the business processes and requirements
  • Work with Project Manager to define, prioritize, and document the defects and small enhancements
  • Understand the technical flow behind the requirements
  • Provide product knowledge where applicable to ongoing development efforts

 

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Work with Project Manager and CIO to plan, assign and direct work
  • Work with employees to establish personal goals
  • Document and deliver annual performance appraisals
  • Address performance problems through corrective action and dismissal while keeping an ongoing written record of performance problems
  • Deal with conflict between colleagues
  • Work with other department managers on application and workflow issues

Desired experience and expertise:

  • 7-10 years of related IT and managerial work experience
  • Previous software development and/or SQL query skills preferred
  • Experience with Jira preferred
Precertification LPN

We’re on a mission to improve health outcomes and reduce the cost of care. The work of our medical department is critical to helping us do both.  Working in a call center environment under supervision, this position handles inbound calls from patients, patient representatives, providers, and other medical staff.

We are looking for a Medical Precertification LPN to add to our growing team.

What you’ll add to the team:

  • Management of precertification processes of eligible medical services based on medical plan documents and medical necessity
  • Apply clinical knowledge to make determinations for pre-authorizations of specific procedures and services
  • Conduct Medical/Surgical medical necessity reviews
  • Verify and update patient information in the clinical information system
  • Attention to detail and a team-focused attitude

What you’ll bring:

  • Associates degree or higher
  • Current LPN certification in North Carolina
  • Two or more years of healthcare experience and utilization review or related experience preferred
