Location

Preferred Southeastern U.S. but open to candidates in Eastern and Central time zones. Open to candidates with strong, portable broker relationships extending beyond a single market. This position can be fully remote and requires consistent travel aligned with broker engagement and pipeline activity.

 

The Opportunity

We are seeking a proven Vice President of Sales to accelerate new business growth through established broker and consultant relationships across key markets. This is a senior individual contributor role, designed for a high-performing producer. This is not a manager or multi-layer leadership position.

 

We are looking for a sales professional who brings:

  • Deep and active benefits broker relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to originate opportunities through broker influence
  • Significant self-funded and/or employee benefits sales experience
  • A consistent track record of generating and closing mid-market business

 

This is not a developmental or territory-building role. Success requires existing broker equity that can be activated immediately. The right candidate will align their relationships with a platform built to win, execute, and retain long term.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Activate and expand existing broker and consultant relationships to drive growth
  • Generate qualified new business aligned with Healthgram’s mid-market focus through broker-led opportunities
  • Maintain strong deal qualification standards, prioritizing strategic fit over transactional volume
  • Collaborate with Healthgram leadership and operations to win new business
  • Represent Healthgram’s consultative, execution-focused culture in the marketplace

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of successful sales experience in the employee benefits industry
  • Demonstrated success in self-funded and/or employee benefits sales
  • Established broker credibility with consistent, recent production history
  • Strong executive presence, consultative selling capability, and competitive drive
  • Proven ability to independently generate pipeline and close business

 

Compensation

Total compensation includes competitive base salary plus uncapped, recurring commissions — offering a true opportunity to build a sustainable book of business and long-term income.
