Who We Are

Healthgram is an independent and privately held third-party administrator (TPA) delivering integrated self-funded health plan solutions for midsize and large employers. We’ve built our model to function as an integrated employer healthcare platform—bringing together plan administration, advocacy and navigation, and care management into one connected ecosystem.

From the start, we saw a better way to manage health plans. Too many employers were forced to navigate fragmented solutions with too many vendors, misaligned incentives, and limited transparency. So, we built something different: a single, integrated TPA model designed to streamline administration, improve performance, and create an unmatched customer experience.

Established healthcare solutions company now known as Healthgram, Inc.
1985
Launched our third-party administration (TPA) solution
1990
Designed and provided back office administration for a large, regional health insurance carrier

Developed our own provider network in the Southeast
2000
Launched the first version of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) software
2006
Formalized our clinic and population health division
2011
Established a preferred relationship with a large, national network and formalized our advocacy program

Opened our first primary care clinic in Hickory, NC

Acquired our new corporate headquarters for expansion needs
