Receptionist / Medical Department Assistant

Medical Assistant/Reception

We’re on a mission to streamline healthcare for every one of our clients. The Medical Assistant & Receptionist will primarily be assisting our medical team to achieve that goal while also client-facing with our on-site guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to collect additional information from providers for medical review.
  • Help complete phone audits monthly.
  • Help with research for possible accident/injury subrogation cases in review by medical.
  • Help review pre-certs for non-par status.
  • Help review the pre-cert list daily from the Cigna download to identify possible case management cases and potential large case notifications.
  • Assist the VP of Clinical Operations and the Manager of Clinical operations with any additional requests.
  • Working closely with our contracting department to assist in any way to complete any additional tasks for cross training.
  • Scanning of wellness HRA’s.
  • Help with refund calls to providers.
  • Primary back up for front desk staff.

Qualifications:

  • College degree is required.
  • Good phone etiquette.
  • Ability to multitask.
